The Beginning

On Saturday, Devan and I will head into Portland with our cameras. Our goal? Photograph 100 people that we do not know in one day.

It's pretty intimidating. But, it's also really, really exciting. We have both been giggly for the last few days as we brainstormed some ideas for how we would go about it. We plan to find populated areas and set up shop on a street corner with a sign. We will probably alternate that with walking around and approaching people (eek!).

You'll see the portraits here. Along with a picture, we're going to try to find out a little bit about each person - their age, occupation. And then they'll no longer be people we do not know. They'll be people we met once.

This is going to be awesome.
